  hello all, registered just to post this and see what you all had to say about this.

  i, for one, am in shock.

  it was anounced today on "extra" and they said we would soon see a change in his music because he was "marrying his music to his religion.

  First of all just let me say, when we heard about Michael Jackson, it should have given us a clue about the Borg. This is just the icing on the cake.

  Bonnie,
  That was the basic premise of my leaving too. I knew that though JW's touted John 13:35 as an identifying mark of true Christians, it wasn't being applied.
  When I went to the elder's for help one time, I told them straight out that my husband and I were spiritually weak. I told them that no one ever invited us over, although I had invited and went all out for countless one's, they told me I needed to be more hospitable.

  hi everyone, i just read esmerelda's post, i can see where she's coming from, being a new member, myself.. i understand, though, that people have already made friends and have their own little community, and that's fine.. i don't mind at all, i just hope that i can get people's attention by saying something that hasn't been said before...... i'm struggling though......... bye bye.

  Marriage

  when i married my jw wife i was told that marriage was a very important thing.. i have, however, later learned that:.

  1) my sister-in-laws husbands jw brother got divorced because his jw wife fooled around.. 2 - 3) 2 couples were divorced after we got married (212 years ago).

  one of them had only been married for a couple of years.

  Good for you Nate!!!!!! You and Rileygurl, got it right!!! Totally concur with your post. Congrats!! Thinker and I felt like we were married long before we actually were. But we had a wonderful wedding day too!!
